Breaking news: Three bombs uncovered in Bayero varsity Kano

[Vanguard]  Unknown persons, Tuesday morning planted multiple high calibre time bombs in three strategic location in Bayero University Kano(BUK) old campus.

The location are the Faculty of Science, Sports Complex and in front of the  Sub-Dean’s office, Faculty of Law of the school.

Eyewitness account told Vanguard that “a strange suspicious object was found in front of the Faculty of Law.

The account further revealed that the police were alerted and deployed its men to the scene adding that “everybody around the suspicous spot has been evacuated to safety”

There is a total confusion as students and lecturers and non-accaddemic staff could be seen running out of the campus”, an eyewitness told Vanguard

Tuesday incident is the second in recent weeks as similar high calibre bomb was uncovered two weeks ago at the Sociology Department of the institution.

Confirming the incident, the police Image maker in the state, ASP Magaji Musa Majia told Vanguard on phone that the police were alerted by the authorities of BUK on the development.

Magaji Musa Majia revealed that the Command has deployed anti Bomb disposal squad to the scene.
